900g fruit, stewed if nessesary | |
150g plain flour or self raising flour | |
100g unsalted butter, chilled & cubes | |
50g sugar ( demerara, golden caster , brown ) | |
(Handful of porridge oats / chopped nuts ) |

apple & raisins/sultanas & nutmeg
Pears & cinnamon
rhubarb & ginger
In a sauce pan:
500g fruit & caster sugar & spice
(& 50ml water):
boil-simmer:soft
(5-20min depending on the fruit)
Serve warm or cold with
custard, yoghurt, creme fraiche or ice cream or porriageFruit Crumble-4
Pre-heat the oven to 200C.
Stew fruit if need- drainRub 150g plain flour & 100g butter: like breadcrumbs
Stir in 50g sugar.
in the fridge until ready to bake or freezer 10 mins.oven proof dish : grease.

bake 200c-30 minsserve warm or cold with yoghurt, creme fraiche or custard or ice cream.
